Guess what…don’t even try…this is so unbelievable you will never guess it.
I am working on my own blog!
Mama has to help cause I don’t have fingers and so can’t type.
Anyway, I am putting it all together and will let you know when I am online.
It’s a bit of work, you know. Lots to think about; theme, and background, about page, stuff like that.
Mama’s cautiously mildly sort of going forward with the idea.
But I am excited.
So excited I am worn out!
I’ve checked things off the list!
You know the dreaded to-do list.
A friend and I went shopping and I got stuff I needed to have to actually do something on the list.
- Teddy has a spiffy new placemat for his dishes
- the bathroom has a new shower rod (not really a new rod but a cover for the old rod so it looks new) and new hooks for the shower curtain.
- I also got some things I needed to start Christmas gifts so I am good to go those projects.
- new extension cord so I can plug all the techie things that need to be charged every night.
- got a haircut.
- took an over due book back to the library.
- took a package to the Fed Ex pick up place.
A very good couple of days.

Today I am one year older!
jelillie has honored me with this award. Thank you, je, I appreciate your kindness.
With this award I am instructed to tell 7 things about myself, give 7 links to posts in different categories, and pass this to 7 other bloggers.
OK here goes:
7 things about me
I took typing in school and got an A but that was so long ago there weren’t computers and we used typewriters…I can’t remember if they were manual or electric
I type using 2 sometimes 3 fingers–so much for the A in typing
I often eat cookies for breakfast
I often eat cookies for lunch
I don’t eat cookies for supper but do sometimes have them for dessert after supper
Sometimes I take off my bifocals to read
I like my hair messy which is a good thing because that’s what it is most of the time
There are lots of blogs to pass this to here are just 7
As you may have noticed, or not, I skipped one of the 3 things I am to make a list of 7. I am skipping this one because I am a rule-breaker–sometimes.
Today, I think I will leave this as it is. Thanks again, je.
I have been given some awards! \O/

And there you are. Go visiting.
Today, I think Blogworld is full of great reading. I would need weeks to read all I want and to give awards to all who deserve them.
The other day my friend and her daughter and I went shopping. The daughter person went to a store, her favorite, where my friend and I would never find a thing that we could fit our fannies in so we went elsewhere.
I had a gift card for Old Navy I was itching to spend so we went there first so I could scratch my itch.
That was fun and now I have some new duds.
Then we went to try on shoes. My friend loves shoes and purses. I have a love/hate relationship with those things but I do like to look at the pretties.
From there we went to a rather big department store “just to look”. I got a couple of sweaters
We met up with daughter person and went to meet mama/grandma/friend for lunch. It was nice to see the 3 generations of my friends sitting at the table together. The conversation was good and I must say the Olive Garden has some fine food.

Later that evening I went to a Christmas dinner at Harper’s with my friends and co-workers that was hosted by our employers. The food there was also very good. And the conversation there was good, too.
Today, I am thankful for the people who bless my life so graciously.
