Great quote. Quiet courage – I like that.
Me too.
Patricia, this is so appropriate for me today. It makes me think of my daughter and how courageous she is right now. Reading this actually made me cry……but that’s OK,too!
Celebrating Canada Day today,!
Crying is ok it releases toxins and is cleansing. But too much crying makes you funny looking…Hope all is well with your daughter.
Happy Canada Day!
What a wonderful quote.
I think it is very true. We often think of courage in terms of heroic acts of great magnitude but sometimes getting out of bed is a heroic act…
One of my favourite quotes ever, and very timely for me right now. Thankyou my dear. 🙂
Cat
You are most welcome,Cat.
Oh thank you so much for this encouragement. Not feeling up to roaring tonight! 🙂 God bless you, Patricia, and the special way you make us think and smile!
It’s been awhile since I roared myself. But I am happy to know that my pitiful mews are heard. Be well…
I do like that quote. thank you.
I think it is quite powerful. It is not easy to just keep on keepin’ on and those who do in spite of obstacles and difficulties are of great courage.
Yes…this is absolutely the truth. In fact, I think this is the case more often than not.
I agree. We may hear more about the great feats of heroes than we do of the little victories of everyday average folks but that doesn’t change the fact that courage has little to do with noise and more to do with quiet fortitude.
Being plain stubborn fortifies courage
Stubborn can be good. And I did find this and your “test” in spam. What’s up with everybody going to spam these days?
