Friday, sometimes small is the best…

mail

Recently a friend sent me a gift.
A handmade sleeve for cups, glasses, and cans with my name embroidered on it.
I have used it and it keeps my glass of iced tea from sweating all over the table.
Great gift.
And she sent a book.
I just started reading the book and it is wonderful, very inspiring.
Great gift.
(Of course, when I finish it I will post a review.)

Along with those two things she sent a bookmark she made.

A great gift.
My favorite of all!

Sometimes the smallest things are the best.

Thank you my far away friend.

Today, I think my friend is very talented and thoughtful and knows me very well and I celebrate her!

  1. Sure sounds like she knows you…and yes…those little things mean a whole lot more than those big things. love the kitty at the post office. Cats are so smart, aren’t they. To think they even know how to send priority mail 🙂

    1. For a young woman who is friends with and old(er) woman she is quite perceptive and very kind not to notice the difference in our ages. Of course cats can send priority mail…they can blog can’t they!

  2. You have a lovely friend, Patricia. Handmade, small and useful things and ideas are right up my alley these days. Razz-a-ma-Tazz and brand names don’t mean much to me anymore. Who needs stuff anymore, which doesn’t mean something special.
