    1. Here we are back to melancholy…and I agree, I think the tone is melancholy. Poor Teddy’s feet have never touch grass…at least not since he was taken to the shelter and I adopted him…who knows where he was before that.

  1. your dandy-lion (that’s what we called them) brought back many memories of my younger years. Great pictures and I really enjoy the poem> I’ve never tried Haiku. I looks to hard to me.

    1. We used to pick dandelions for my mother. I still think they are pretty even if they are weeds. I don’t know much about Haiku, just the basics, and yes, for me it is hard. I think I like to talk too much.

  2. A beautifully done Haiku, Patricia! The chill of winter, both in life and in our hearts, is a miserable, lonely feeling, but when the seasons change and the breezes warm us, there is a promise of new life and new love. I thought the picture you chose was perfect… a gentle wind will scatter seeds to new beginnings, just as life does for us! Thank you for a wonderful addition to Two Shoes Tuesday. I really liked this poem!

  3. I think this is the way I feel every year when the summer wind shows up. Winter/spring melts away into warmth.

    Have a terrific day. 🙂

    1. It is a bit melancholy. I have only tried Haiku a couple of times. I enjoy the challenge. Thank you for the “well done” it is encouraging.
