Friday, a good week…

Things I celebrate this week

  • New exhaust fans in both bathrooms.  Only took about 10 years to get around to having it done.  Very nice to take a shower without a roaring screechy squeal going on the whole time.  The guy downstairs is probably very happy about this.
  • Had a dental appointment that took longer than expected because of a tooth falling apart as it was being drilled.  Bummer.  But since I was under the spell of Nitrous Oxide it was all good without a care or concern on my part.
  • My friend gave me a ride to and from the dentist so no waiting for the bus which was wonderful.  It seems the bus schedule and my schedule are never on the same schedule which does present problems when I need to be on time for something somewhere.
  • Received an insurance reimbursement check.
  • It has been hot and muggy but Thursday was a cool breezy day.  Anything under 90* is cool in this part of the world.

Now I am going to have some ice cream, chocolate of course, and read my book until my lights go out and I go off to Slumberland.

  1. PS it looks like your link on the linky goes to an old post – have a look – if you want to replace it just with a general ‘blog’ link let me know and I can delete the old one (comment at my blog so I’m sure to see). Just a thought.

    1. Thanks, Nancy. I second the yay to Nitrous Oxide. Although when I looked it up in Wikipedia I learned it is very bad for the environment. I guess next time I go to the dentist I will take deep breaths in and let little ones out. Certainly not giving up my laughing gas! Doesn’t make me laugh though, just relaxed.

  2. This was such a nice post to read! I love folks who remember to count their blessings, there’s always something good in the mix of life. As for Teddy’s picture, is there anything more peaceful or beautiful than a sleeping cat or a sleeping child? They always look so deceptively angelic! 🙂 Have a great weekend coming up, Patricia!

    1. Thanks, Josie. I love to watch Teddy sleeping and will have lots of time this week-end as I will be off the computer until Monday. See you next week.

    1. I will be off the computer this week-end so I will get some stuff done, watch a movie, read, crochet…then come back to cyberspace Monday. See you then.
