Here is something I don’t understand.
Well, there is a lot I don’t understand but for now
I will focus on one thing.
Habits
Why are good habits so hard to establish and bad habits so easily made routine?
and
Why are good habits so easy to let go of and bad habits so hard to remove?
and
Why are we so often reminded about our bad habits and rarely told about our good habits?
and
Why do good habits seem so dull and bad habits so fun?
Today, I think I will never understand.

Ya same here, there are many things that I don’t understand either. : )
It’s a complex world.
You know what? I got nuthin’! But I must say HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
A laugh is a good response …
Often bad habits just happen, while good habits require intent, purpose, and work. Just a thought. Wouldn’t it be nice if good habits just happened? Maybe sometimes they do. Blessings to you, Patricia…
Yes it would be nice and I don’t understand why it is the way it is.. I know why I just don’t understand it.
Some bad habits are very fun indeed, and some are very fattening too. Bugger.
This is an awesome take on habit.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
I agree. Bummer!
FUN post . . . and here is the answer:
Good habits involve delayed gratification ~ it takes a while to lose 10 pounds.
Bad habits involved immediate gratification ~ it takes only a moment to eat 10 cookies.
Spoken like a lawyer…:)
Look at it this way….it’s the eye of the beholder who determines whether a habit is good or bad. Eating too much chocolate simply cannot be a bad habit. It wouldn’t make sense that something so good is bad.
There are people who think chocolate is a bad habit? Who knew!
Never met one myself but I hear…..
hehe….awesome questions and my mind is going in circles trying to answer them!! I don’t know either but I think it’s got to do with the bad habits being well…taboo in a way…so it’s more fun to live “dangerously”?….never mind…I’m going with a “I don’t know either!”…
Taboo stuff is enticing. I am not much for danger. Although I have been enticed into danger by taboo stuff unwittingly. But then I am a ditz.
well it could be that it’s not easy to sell you some that will break a good habit…but we all spends tons on stuff to break bad habits…it’s all about marketing.
maybe so…people are complex creatures.
This was a fun post. 🙂 Thanks for the giggles.
You are welcome…giggles are good.
Perhaps it all depends on the meaning of the definition of the word “is.”
Nice post, Patricia. I think the Devil got his hand in the pot and made sure that bad habit things would look good. Things like ‘sin.’
..
Oh dear…Today, I don’t even want to think about the sin thing of bad habits.
I agree entirely. I am right there with you.
Good to know I am not alone.
Totally clueless but I will focus only one thing. FUN. 🙂
Good idea!
This was wonderful, Patricia! I so love the way your mind thinks! I agree with every thought you have here, all so sadly true. It seems kind of twisted, doesn’t it? No wonder this poor kitty is perplexed! A fun bit of pondering that totally works for Two Shoes Tuesday… thank you for smiles to end my day!
Perplexed…I love that word. I am going to have to find a way to use it in a post.
I don’t know either but I’m with upside down cat.
He does look a bit confused…like me.
🙂
