What day were you were born…

Supposedly the day of the week you were born gives an
indication of your character and future.

There is a nursery rhyme about the day you were born.

Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go.
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good in every way.
Can you guess what day of the week I was born?

I don’t think the nursery rhyme reflects
my character or my life and hopefully not my future.

What day were you born?

  1. I am a Saturday child, but! I was born so close to being a Friday’s child and so close to being a Sunday’s child I call myself a Weekend child and claim ALL the blessings of Friday and Sunday too.

    So that makes me:

Loving and giving, hard-working, fair, wise, and happy! Yep, that sounds like me. LOL 🙂

  2. I am a Thursday child and yes… I certainly feel I have very far to go! I have yet to figure out how not to feel life to be a constant struggle.
For years it’s been nothing but illness… no job and therefore no money, deep depression which I don’t seem to be able to find my way out from. I wish I could say that I know where to go and that I am enjoying the journey, but it is very far from.

  3. I was born on a Sunday, but I think I am still working on the fair, wise and good part… maybe it will come to me more fully in the sixth decade of my life which is soon to arrive! 🙂

    1. I think you are probably closer to fair, wise, and good than you think. The sixth decade of life is not a bad place to be. I have been here a while and still sminling.
