I know the badge says Friday and I am posting this on Saturday,
but Friday got gone before I turned the computer on.
Now Saturday is going fast.
I am determined to get this done before Sunday shows up.
- Reading gives me a way to get away from everyday ordinary life for a while.
- I heard having a pet prevents stress from getting the upper-hand and I believe it’s true.
- I wish I could go to sleep at a decent hour…or anytime before 2 or 3 or 4.
- My hair color is grey, it makes me feel ok, fine, whatever…it suits me, it’s natural, and no bother.
The End
I feel the same way about reading and I’m happy that lately I’ve been finding some time to read again. It’s always one of those things that slip by the wayside when things get busy but I find I’m more relaxed when I can lose myself in a good book. 🙂
It helps that I don’t have a TV. 🙂
I so agree with you about #1 and #2. Reading and my fur babies make me very happy.
Reading and furries make the world a nicer place.
Your no. 4 made me smile 🙂 And I agree with no.1 and believe in no. 2. In fact I swear my cat used to know when I was upset or such, because those times she would always come to me and cuddle, whereas most other times she wouldn’t.
Our furry family members are sometimes more sensitive than the ones without fur.
I agree with everything (especially the pet one) except for the grey. My normal color is a dark blonde which doesn’t grey nicely so now I’m BFFs with Clairol!
I wouldn’t say I am greying nicely but I am not too concerned about it.
I don’t usually have trouble sleeping through the night, but not last night. Too many things swirling around in my brain. I generally go to bed around 11:00 pm because I hate sleeping in late or after 7:00 am.
Hope you have better luck sleeping to catch up.
I don’t know why it is so difficult for me to go to sleep. Always been this way but now I am feeling tired most of the time
Not good. Can you not have someone do the old cast frying pan on you head trick so you can catch up on some ZZZZZs and sleep off the #### ouch?
My problem is that if I go to sleep at a decent hour then I wake up at 2, 3, or 4.
Gone are the days of staying up most of the night and then sleeping until early afternoon.

That will happen to me sometimes. I have always been a night owl. When I was young 4 or 5 hours of sleep was fine but now I feel fatigued during the day.
I loved this and could relate to all of them. I have never colored my hair, so hope I can be okay-fine-whatever as it turns more and more gray! 🙂
I have had all colors of hair from very blonde to black. I was a hairdresser so that made it easy. I have no desire to go the color route again it takes a lot of time and money to keep it looking good.
Good luck getting a good night’s sleep. I often struggle to do just that.
See it’s midnight and I am wide awake! And I did not take a nap today so I would be tired at bedtime. But after dark I am awake. Do you think I have vampire blood in me?
I can identify with #1, #2, and #4. I often have insomnia, but am working on that. I try to go to bed and get up at the same times each day.
P.S. About hugging…I was raised in a very no demonstrative family. We did not show affection. I decided that feelings are important. I was going to be different than that. Hugging is important. I hug.
Yes, hugs are important. I give them now but not as easily as I would like…sometimes feels a little awkward.
I think the more I hug others, the more I realize that everyone needs it, even those who don’t initiate it. Hugs are so very basically “human”.
I have been trying to keep regular hours. But my regular hours are way different than the norm. Been this way since I was a child. But with age the bounce back time is slower and I feel the fatigue more.
I feel your pain. I used to be up all hours, now I feel the need to sleep more than I used to. Its okay, getting older. You just have to adjust to its demands.
