Ah, a beautiful thought and a stunning image – just love it! There is nothing quite like that kind of summer storm, is there?
There are some really good photographers out there! I am grateful many are willing to share. Thanks for visiting my place.
Beautiful poem, beautiful graphic. It’s nice to link up and meet you.

Thank you. Glad you liked your visit here. Come back again…the door is always open.
Beautiful poem and picture! I love rain. We sure could use some here in southern California.
Thank you. There are so many areas that need rain. So far we have had just what we need…not too much not too little. But by August that may be different. Hopefully, you will see some summer showers soon.
It would a fool that did not love the rain. We should remember we are guests here for a short time that we should appreciate all that we see and feel. You haiku reminded me of the many times we walked the rain for sheer pleasure!
I like to walk in the summer rain showers Sometimes that is the only time the humidity is tolerable here. We do need to remember that we are blessed with the beauty and bounty of creation.
What a beautiful photo!
Thanks. I am very grateful that there are people who put there photos out there for people like me to use.
Nice poem and I love the picture. We could use a few summer storms here. It’s been totally dry.
So far we have been lucky with the rain…just enough to keep things growing and water tables healthy. Hope you see some showers soon.
This is the kind of beautiful verse that I love to share on FB… perfect artwork, thought that flows perfectly. Bottom line… yes, the storms of summer… and perhaps the storms of life too, bring renewal. Thank you for an excellent TST offering, Patricia!
Thank you, Josie. Haiku is a stretch for me. I am happy this one worked out the way it did. Not easy for me to say something in 17 syllables! Glad you enjoyed it and saw the metaphor.
Love your haiku.
Thanks. This is a push for me…I find it difficult to say something in so few words. When it works I am delighted.
Works for me and smells fresh too! 😀 What’s not to love?
Summer rains are welcome. They do clear the air and give a little break from the heat and humidity.
We’ve had a few fast and furious showers. 🙂
simply lovely.
Thank you.
Nicely done, my friend.
Thank you. When I lived in Ohio I used to love seeing storms come in from the lake. Now I watch them from my 9th floor abode coming in from the west. Fascinating.
