Figures there would be a downpour when I don’t have my umbrella and my car is on the other side of the parking lot. Oh, there is Mr. Dreamy and he doesn’t have an umbrella either, and obviously not happy about it. Looks like he is coming over here to wait in the doorway for the rain to stop. We will be stuck here together for a while, I think. What a pity.

Making rainbows of the rain. Love the potential romance.
Possible rainbow…possible romance. You can write the end anyway you want. 🙂
What a great job you did with this story. Impressive scene you built with five sentences. Have a great night Patricia! Eva
Thanks, Eva. With these little stories I often wonder what happens next. Five sentences is good for me…a whole story would be a headache for me.
I really think you’re underestimating yourself. You would be amazing; I think you should do NaNoWriMo with me in November. 🙂 It would be a blast…
I tried it last year but didn’t make it through the month. Not sure why because I do the A to Z Challenge in April with no problem.
Try again. 🙂 At least this year you’ll have a partner. I said the same last November, and I did it.
You are good at condensing a story into a few sentences. Good work, Patricia!
It is a challenge to do it without run-on sentences! Bet you could do it in a snap.
Nicely done! Not easy to set up a whole scene in just five sentences!
Thanks. It is not easy but it is fun to work it out.
How romantic! Rain is perfect for the start of this love-story 🙂
It does seem love stories often start with dreary days.
Wonderful, Patricia!
Thank you, Debbie.
What a great opening to a relationship where perhaps she finds out what Mr. Dreamy dreams about. He may be very interesting!
Maybe Mr Dreamy dreams about her?
I am sure this has played many times.you did a nice job setting a scene.
Thank you. I am enjoying this challenge of five sentences to tell a story, or at least part of one.
This is my kind of story, Patricia, making me smile at the possibility that fate is intervening to give to give this unintended couple some time together. Who knows where this could lead? If nothing else, she will go home smiling, having enjoyed the moment. I believe in magical encounters! Thank you for a great Two Shoes Tuesday post!
I believe there are magical encounters, too. Maybe Mr.Dreamy was looking for a way to meet his Ms Dreamy? Another story another time maybe.
Sorry about the rain. Is Mr. Dreamy real? I like this story. ❤
I have known a Mr.Dreamy… was a wonderful interlude but he is history now.
I tend to be curious. I hope you didn’t mind my asking. To late now, right? Didn’t we all have a Mr. Dreamy somewhere in our past? 😀 😀 😀
