  2. I have happy comforting things to remember.
  3. I had some wonderful teachers and my third grade teacher gave me the gift of loving to read.

    1. Your comment made think. You are right but I do think it is important to have a cheerleader who lifts you up and helps you see the beauty of who you are.

  1. You link didn’t work so I looked up your blog. – Great answers. I knew you had to have had a teacher who taught you a love for reading. That is wonderful. Friends are always great to have. I love that you enjoy walking. I need to do it more often myself.

    1. Glad you got here even though the link didn’t work. I don’t know what happened there. I think that teacher gave me the greatest gift when she opened the world of books to me.

  2. I like how you fill in your blanks. Always interesting. πŸ™‚

MY third grad teacher gave me a free pass. We had to watch our spelling when writing answers on our exam. The answer to a question was rabbit but I was afraid I didn’t know how to spell it. What to do? I drew a small rabbit as best I could where the word was supposed to go. The answer was correct and I got my mark even though I didn’t spell it. ❀

    1. What a wonderful teacher. Some teachers do have a gift for knowing what a child needs. I remember my third grade teacher read every afternoon for our quiet time. She read the most wonderful books and made me want to read.
