What I think…

Hilary at Feeling Beachie

have some blanks to fill-in…

  1. What would be your perfect morning?
  2. Certainly a laugh will ease a stressful meeting.

  3. A real book with paper pages is better than an Ebook.
  4. Joining a group of people for the first time makes me feel anxious.

I am celebrating this week:

I work part-time these days and I get to have lots of perfect mornings.
I laugh a lot.
I have lots of me timeย and I can read to my heart’s content.
I am more relaxed about being in groups of people than I used to be.

  1. A perfect morning? Waking up slowly, turning once or twice in bed, getting up, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, browsing the internet and all that followed by a nice long breakfast at the table with hubby. So, pretty much like our weekends’ mornings ๐Ÿ™‚
I tend to agree with your no. 3., I love my Kindle, for vacation and such, but it is just not the same.

  2. I am smiling at all the things you are celebrating this week! I think you just discovered one more reason to celebrate over at my blog, and I am happy for you! Toby made a great choice! ๐Ÿ™‚ Send me your email address so I can send you the card! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Thank you for stopping over. So nice to meet you. I’m with you on a real book, it’s the only way to go!
You are a no-reply should I can’t respond to your comment. I just had my toes done dark this week and I too usually like something pale on my hands. Have a great weekend.

  4. Hi Patricia,

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I have over 1,000 e-books, but I also like physical books.
My perfect morning would be the wind calmly blowing in through the open windows, peaceful and quiet.

    Enjoy your Saturday!!

  5. I am currently reading an ACTUAL book too. And I even ordered a second one! I missed the weight, feel, smell of a real page turner in my hands. My perfect morning is that book, a cup of coffee, and if the weather was nice, my back deck.

  6. I seem to be the only one who prefers e-books to physical books. It’s just so much easier on my eyes to be able to increase the font size.

My perfect morning would be staying in bed and reading, instead of jumping up and getting ready for work.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. It can be easier to read on my Nook because I can increase the font but I still like paper books better. I find myself getting large print books from the library if they are available. I don’t think I ever jump out of bed. The days I work I set the alarm a bit earlier than necessary so I can hit the snooze button.

  7. I have lots and lots of Kindle books. I tend to read my real books although some of the electronic additions are newer and ‘hotter’. Seems I avoid them when I can read REAL.
    What WAS the question?

      1. I know. I see the beauty of carrying x number books with you–your library if you like–but only in a pinch. The other disadvantage is, you must remember to recharge. Real books are always ready. โค

  8. I agree with you regarding physical books, rather than e-books. I do have a Kobo and a Kindle, but I still choose a traditional book when I can. I am pretty traditional on most things.
