Patient Patricia…not…

Hilary at Feeling Beachie and her co-host Pam at Trooppetrie
have Four Fill-In statements this week.

Here are my statements:

  1. Do I have to diet and exercise.  Really do I?
  2. If only I would learn to be patient then I wouldn’t be so…well, impatient!
  3. Every girl needs a belief in the value of who she is and every boy needs a sense of self-worth and self-confidence.
  4. I would love to learn about nutrition and exercise but do not want to have to practice what I learn.

grrr

Celebrating the Small Things
with Lexa Cain, today.

I am learning a lot about patience…mostly how little of it I have…
and I appreciate the people who are suffering through my lessons.
Thanks y’all!

  1. That diet and exercise thing is something that I am working on. Patience is something that I do seem to have learned as I have aged. “It is what it is.”, has become a mantra. Some things can be changed, others just are. I agree with you on #3, and wish everyone would realize this. Too many put their self worth on others perceptions.
    Hugs, my friend.

    1. I don’t know what happened to my patience…it just seems to have disappeared. I need to get it back because impatient people drive me crazy…I really don’t like them. As for diet and exercise…I don’t have the patience right now 🙂

  2. Patience has never been one of my strengths either, I doubt I will ever achieve that state, though I have mellowed a little in my older years. I am with you on nutrition and exercise too. I know it’s good for me, but I don’t like it very much. My body says I should learn to though! 🙂

    1. This impatience thing is relatively new for me. I am going to conquer it and be my nice self again if it kills me. Getting old(er) is not for wimps! There is so much more upkeep required to keep tan old body moving along.

    1. Thanks, Tess. Yesterday and today have been gorgeous! About 60* and sunny. After four days of cold rain, it felt wonderful to get out for a walk to the library.
