- The worst thing about going to the dentist is having to go to the dentist.
- I would rather read than watch TV.
- I can crochet, sew, cross stitch and do crewel work, but I wish I could draw and paint.

This week I had my taxes done. Ugh!
But I got a refund. Yay!
So I went shopping.
Got a new quilt and shams.
They didn’t have the sheets I wanted in stock so
I will look for them online.
Not something I needed but wanted.
The bag says it all.
I have a job…I like.
I pay taxes…I don’t like.
Got some of those tax dollars back
so I went shopping without a credit card
and bought something just because I wanted to.
Yep, I am grateful.

Hi Patricia! Well at least you were able to go shopping with the refund you got. Yayyy!! Like you, I’d much rather read than watch TV also. Have a great night! Eva
1. That totally says it all as far as dentist for me.
2. I like reading but I also enjoy watching TV.
Poor dentists few people like to see them in their workplace. I don’t have a TV.
I hate going to the dentist. but the best part of going to the dentist is knowing that it is done…
Yeah, after the appointment is over it doesn’t seem so bad.
Great answers! It does feel good to shop with cash instead of credit- glad you got some items you wanted.
I made a promise to myself…no credit cards. It’s been almost a year since I used plastic. Feels great.
Shopping for something we like is always more fun than shopping for routine stuff. Glad you had so me fun. Blessings, Patricia…
It was fun. And it didn’t stop…got some new lamps!
Taxes are on my agenda for next week. Thanks for the reminder. Might as well get them out of the way. Sigh.
Taxes are like Christmas. I think I have all the time in the world then it’s crunch time.
