And this week I
Celebrate The Small Things

  • I had a birthday and have a new year to celebrate.
  • Got sweet thoughtful gifts that I love. Cards, flowers, jewelry, and chocolate stuff.
  • Did some shopping and had lunch with my friend “Lucy”.
  • Finished a little project for the Homeowner’s Association.

I am thankful for the blessings!

  1. “Offering to the Son’s light their full devotion”… would that we could so easily do the same! Beautiful Haiku, as always Patricia!
Happy, Happy Birthday to You! Had we known, we would have shown up with cake, at least virtually! 🙂 I am a big believer in birthdays, and it sounds like yours was duly noted and celebrated! Chocolates… oh yes, the best part most certainly! :-). Wishing you a year ahead that is filled with blessings and sweet surprises. (This you brought you Jack, Teddy says he doesn’t want more of that kind of surprises though! ;-). Thank you for joining me at Two Shoes Tuesday and for your gracious comments on my posts. I appreciate your friendship!

    1. Thanks for the good wishes and kind comments. Jack has no worries. There will not be a third cat joining us. Although I would like a dog. 🙂

  2. Happy Birthday and your gifts sound excellent! Amusingly, I did some shopping and had lunch with my friend Lucy too! Yay for finishing projects and for lovely sunflowers. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thanks for the birthday wishes, Lexa. It was a lovely week of birthday celebrating. My Lucy isn’t really named Lucy but we are at times a bit like Lucy and Ethel of I Love Lucy fame.
