  1. I can look back on my past and see it as a total mess too, Patricia, and I own the responsibility for most of that. But the key word you have so right here is preparation… that past, no matter how poorly navigated, has prepared us for where we are now and what is yet to come, and because of it we are now stronger, and even a little wiser too! :-). Beautifully written!

    1. I do think all that is in our past, good and bad, is meant to prepare us for the future. Sometimes we are being prepared for our own future but often we are being prepared to help with someone else’s future. I feel a great responsibility in that, but the blessings cannot be imagined…they are so wonderful. I am glad you liked my poem.

    1. When I first wrote it the words were all negative. What a downer. I was that way once but no longer. So, I scrapped the negative and went for the positive.
