I always have things to celebrate and
here are three things I celebrate this week
- We once again have safe clean water. No need to boil it before drinking or cooking. It is amazing how we take safe clean water for granted. We just use it every day without any thought of what is involved in getting it to our homes.
- After a week away from work, I went back on Monday and by today I was all caught up and my desk is clear and ready for next week.
- Had lunch with a friend I don’t see very often. Always wonderful to catch up and hear what’s new and the veggie pizza was too good.

A definite yay for getting water back. What a pain! We do tend to take things like that for granted and forget how it is when they aren’t there anymore. Enjoy being caught up and work…and pizza is always worth celebrating.
It was a bother to be boiling water and having to fill the toilet tank every time it needed to be flushed. But we are back to normal now and yes, we are forgetting the bother.
I’m so glad to hear things are getting back to normal for you (and probably the people in your area). Yay for getting caught up on work so quickly, for good friends, and for PIZZA!! LOL! 🙂

Clean water. How lucky we are and keep forgetting. I know I take it for granted for sure.

It would seem I worked extra hard last week to get caught up, but the truth is with the flood there wasn’t much business and our merchandise team of buyers are at market. This week is quiet until the buyers come back with the orders they placed. Next week will be a different story.
Nice to get a breather then. Glad you didn’t have to do double duty to catch up after being laid up. ❤ ❤ 😆
Agree with you we do take simple things like clean water for granted. Probably a lot more than that. Sometimes we do need to be reminded and thank you so much for actually reminding me today. It’s good that things are slowly but surely returning to a normal state for you. I hope you have a beautiful weekend.
PS. pizza is always good and pizza with friends is twice as tasty and good. 😀
The weekend was beautiful! We do need an occasional reminder of the things we take for granted are blessings, but I hope it’s a while before I need another reminder.
I will admit to being guilty of taking clean water for granted. I can’t imagine what it would be like to live in a place where the water is unsafe to drink. Scary thought. That’s great that you were able to get caught up on your work. And pizza with friends is always a treat. Have a nice weekend!
The no clean water thing is scary and it is a bother having to boil it to make it safe. We are a spoiled people.
