Hilary at Feeling Beachie and her co-host Pam at Troopetrie
have four statements with blanks to fill in.
This week’s four and my fill-ins are:
- Have you gotten started on Christmas stuff?
- Growing up summer meant freedom from the “you have to” things I didn’t want to do.
- The weather outside is not like summer but not quite fall yet.
- My favorite teacher taught me the wonder of books.
This week I Celebrate The Small Things
Had a dental appointment that went very well.
I do have to go back for a filling, but it’s no big deal.
Going to and from the dentist I took the bus.
It was No Fare Day!
The bus fare isn’t much but still what a nice surprise.
The hot and humid weather has gone.
The mornings are refreshing with cool fog that covers the city.

Free fare day on the bus. Cool. This is finally the change of weather here that we have been waiting for. The mornings are very cool. We tried out our fireplace. It raised the temp two degrees in an hour and took away the dampness. Enjoy your weekend. Blessings…
Are you still in Texas? So awesome that you have a fireplace in your RV.
Good for you on your goal of making Christmas gifts. I find that harder to do now, and I haven’t even started on the shopping. Thanks for the reminder.
I enjoy making gifts. I usually start Christmas in July or August but this year I am late. Hopefully, all will be done by the big day. If not they will be New Years gifts.
These show what frame of mind your in. Terrific!
I’m not ready to think about Christmas or the onset of wintertime. Can it be so late in the year already? 😮
It helps to be a bit ditzy.
😀 😀 😀 You’re n.o.t. or we both are because I understand perfectly. 😮
Well, maybe…
Ha ha.
im dreading christmas shopping! eek! im going to try to do it all on Amazon if i can. My toddler hates shopping anyways! glad i dropped in here.
It would be hard to shop with a toddler. Amazon sound like a good alternative. What I don’t make I often get online.
It’s great you only have to have a filling. I recently broke a tooth. I know I’ll need a crown. I’ll do what I alwaysy do and put it off until it starts to hurt. I’m such a baby about going to the dentist. *blush* Have a lovely weekend, Patricia!
I have a great dentist and I really like him. I’ve going to him for over 20 years and I still have problems making the appointment.
Great answers 🙂 I had to go back for a filling this week too. And no, I haven’t started Christmas shopping yet.
I am making gifts this year so I have started. My goal is to be done the first of December, but that may be a bit optimistic.
