one,two,three…

Today I am celebrating
(1) that I finally got together with a friend for lunch. We haven’t seen each other for almost a year.  Nobody should be so busy that they don’t see a friend for months who lives in the same city.  Anyway, we had lunch and then came back to my apartment and talked for three hours.  It was great!
(2) work is really busy. Buyers are back from Las Vegas Market and there are lots of orders to enter into the computer.  It’s work but fun to see pictures of what will be coming in the next few months.
aaah
(3) and maybe the best. It is Friday and I don’t have to set my alarm clock tonight.  I can sleep until noon tomorrow if I want. Fridays are great because they lead to Saturdays!
I am a lazy ditz.

  1. Patricia, Fridays are always reason to celebrate. It’s nice not having to set the alarm, but of course with DH out of work we don’t always get up immediately when the clock goes off. We tend to take our time before I finally throw back the covers to call it a day. lol Have a good weekend!

  2. Yay. I know what you mean about not seeing friends for so long. Two days ago I arranged a get together with two lady friends because we haven’t seen each other in TWO years. I don’t mind I had to stir the pot. We will have a great gab session.
Ah. To sleep in and sprawl with the abandon of a cat. ❤ 😀
    Happy Valentine's, Patricia. ❤

    1. Good for you getting everyone to make time to get together. Two years is a long time maybe you should have a slumber party. Teddy is the best at sprawling! For such a timid shy cat he has no problem exposing his tummy for me.

  3. By that definition, we’re all lazy ditzes! LOL! Yay for going out with friends. Spending time with someone who “gets” you is so stress-relieving. I’m glad your work is going well. It seems very interesting. Love the cat pic! Cats are boneless, right? Have a lovely weekend! 🙂

    1. I like my job but for many it would be mundane and boring. I find it just right for the last hurrah before full retirement. Cats have bones they just don’t let them get in the way of their comfort.

    1. I have no idea why we let so much time go by between visits. Neither one of us is all that busy. Hope your weekend was happy with your Valentine(s).
