“Have a heart that never hardens,
a temper that never tries,
and a touch that never hurts.”
Charles Dickens
Seeing Teddy like this makes me think I have
accomplished the essence of Dicken’s quote.
At least, in Teddy’s world.
I can only hope that I am learning to be
with people as I am with Teddy.
I know I have a long way to go.

Teddy and his brother have a wonderful life with you, they are cared for and loved in abundance. I can see the nature of your heart in your writings here, and I think you are a very compassionate and caring person who would never intentionally do harm to anyone or anything. As we grow older we see the contentment that comes with being good and happy people who do their best to show kindness to others. It is a pleasure to blog with you here. I wish you lived much closer!
I wish we were neighbors. I would love to have the occasional chat over a cuppa something and a bit of chocolate.
I love this, Patricia. Well said. You & the boys really do well together.
I am starting to get into a routine, so I should be back into it for next week and thereafter. So much going on here. Bill is home more, weekends and even during the week (to sleep). We even have some fun news coming up, too.
HUGS, my friend.
What a tease you are!
