“Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use.”
Charles M. Schulz
I have to agree with this.
I am pretty sure I don’t have ten speeds!
I know I have first and second that I use
and three is common not so much fourth.
I occasionally go in reverse, sometimes
from necessity and sometimes accidentally.
To be honest I spend a lot of time idling or parked.
This is my response to the prompt for In Other Words.

Love this post, Patricia!
Thanks, Carol!
My favorite speed is “idling” but then when I get motivated it’s “full speed ahead”. I just wish that happened more often! I love this photo of Teddy… ahh to live the life of a pampered kitty.
I don’t have a full steam ahead setting. Even when I am motivated I take my time.
I got a kick out of this, Patricia.
Glad you liked it. I really don’t have ten speeds!
At least you have an idle / parked cycle. So long as you use your biped, you are moving much more than the bike.
