Cee’s Share Your World–20116 Week 18

star-1280715_640

Who was your best friend in elementary school?
Linda until we moved and I went to another school then I don’t think I had a best friend.  I remember friends but no best friend.

What things could people do for you on a really bad day that would really help you?
If it is at work I would like people to forget I am there.  Don’t bother me, don’t ask me questions, answer the phone and take messages.
If I am at home make me a meal and leave me alone.

If you could make a 15-second speech to the entire world, what would you say?
Stop fighting and listen to each other. That is the only way to peace.

Would you rather be an amazing dancer or an amazing singer?
I would be happy with either but if I have to make a choice it would be to be an amazing singer.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful that I could stay home when I was sick, had nothing that had to be done and that I felt better in a couple of days.
I am looking forward to seeing a friend I don’t see often, going shopping with another friend and listening to a wonderful pianist who lives where I do play for the residents.

    1. This one was wonderful! He has agreed to do another one sometime. I am looking forward to whenever it will be.

  1. Oh, I love this, Patricia! I am so happy to know you better. There is a new fill-in meme coming next week! I hope you will join!

    1. Sometimes it is hard to do these because I have my secrets and they are much more interesting than what I share. 🙂 What/where is the new meme?

  2. I can definitely spout but I have learned to be tactful. I always wanted to be a dancer or a model. I did some modeling and was an extra in a few commercials. I am too short, at 5’5″, for big time modeling but had a lot of fun with it in my day. Dancing – I still rock with the best of them.

  3. It was fun to learn a little more about you! I am similar in that if I am having a bad day the best thing people can do… for me, and for them… is to give me some space and some quiet. I almost always bounce back the next day. :-). I would love to have the grace to be a wonderful dancer! Alas, I am barely graceful enough to walk upright on two feet!

    1. I wanted to be a dancer on Broadway. Took lessons for years. I wasn’t good enough to dance on Main St so forget Broadway. If I am having a bad day shake my cage and I roar ugly words. Best stay away. Fortunately, bad days don’t happen often. If they did someone would have shot me dead a long time ago

      1. It is so hard to ever imagine you spouting ugly words, but I’ve been known to blast a few from time to time myself. I’m mellowing out a bit in my old age, and that’s a good thing. Now I have to be really angry or frustrated before I will lose control, and then later I am over it and fine the next day. But “approach with caution” is still the best word of advice, better to not poke the bear!… or the mama bear in this case! 🙂

        1. There are just those time when the steam has to be released or the lid will blow off. That always makes a mess.
