I let the quote play in my mind for awhile and decided to write a story that is loosely related to it. I was thinking about how often the reputation people assign to us is far different than the way we see ourselves.
Everyone sees us through a different lense. Usually what they see is somewhere between truth and fiction.
That is very true.

Oh, my…I have been know to say a variation of this. I am not surprised that Ford said this. He is (was) right! Excellent!

As with all quotes, it depends upon how the person takes it at any given time. That is why quotes connect with us when we need it.
True, I often see things differently from one day to the next. There are few things that absolutes.
