George was a wonderful comedian and social/political commentator. I remember listening to his albums with friends and laughing until there were tears. I look forward to your take on the quote.

I was a fan, too. He could make me laugh and then make me think. He had the ability to make me see how absurd some things were but taken as fact or truth simply because someone “important” said they were.
