  1. Beautiful, both your words and the image! We do persevere, we were meant to, there is always that spark of hope that leads us on. Life refines us, transformation to what we were intended to be.

    1. I don’t know why persevere seems so difficult. Maybe because the word severe jumps out of it. But there is no finishing, no refining, no reward without perseverance. Transition will happen but transformation takes work and determination.

    1. I like the quote. It says pretty much what I think. The image is from Pixabay. I get most of the images I use from there, great resource.

  2. I’m not afraid of dying and some days welcome the thought. It is how I’m going to go that concerns me.

I am very much looking forward to the afterwards. The thought of no more pain and no more tears, no worries, no sorrow. It sounds like a wonderful thing to me. 🙂

    Have a blessed weekend!

    1. I am not afraid of being dead because I believe there is more than this life we have now. However, the dying part concerns me.

  3. Patricia, you are so right. The transition can be troublesome. The human body has a survival will that is beyond comprehension. It wants to persevere to keep that life going at all costs. It just does not want to quit! I was just listening to the news, Mohamad Ali finally left this world, after all of his organs had shut down, his heart continued to beat for five more minutes. That is a true testament to the will of our body. Thank you for your post very thought provoking.

    1. Thank you, Leland. It is amazing what the body can endure. Our bodies were created to never die but we messed up and now they do.
