Three Line Tales Week Twenty One
The First Race
Well, here I am so excited to be in my first race ever! I have done everything I was told to do; I have been working with a trainer and exercising faithfully, eating healthy, getting plenty of rest and staying focused on the goal. I don’t expect to win this race but Lord please, oh please, don’t let me be the last one to cross the finish line.

I think my thoughts would be more along the line of “Oh Lord, what am I doing??” 🙂
My personal thought is “Why would I do that?” I will stick to my walks.
This is great! I smiled and thought, “Yeah. That’s me.”
Truthfully, if I were to run a race I would just be happy not to die doing it.
Yes, that’s what I’d wish for, too! Lovely tale 🙂
Thank you for the prompt to inspire the tale.
Good luck and be safe.
The tale is pure fiction, Franci. A nice ambling walk is as fast as I go. 🙂
🙂
🙂
That could very well be me.
I wouldn’t even consider running in a race…not only would I be last I would be dead.
Good luck, I am sure you won’t be anywhere near last. I wish I had your ambition.
LOL! It’s pure fiction.😸
A good wish indeed. 😀 ❤ ❤
If it was me running the race my wish would be to live to see the finish line!
