In Other Words
prompt
“At the end of the day, we can endure
much more than we think we can.”
Frida Kahlo
Ain’t that the truth! Frida knew what she was talking about. I didn’t know much about her except that I am not a fan of her work. Just not my kind of art. Anyway, I saw a movie about her life and learned that even if I don’t like her art I think I would have liked her.
She was who she was and made no excuses. There was much pain and unhappiness in her life, but she didn’t let it stop her from living a full life. I like that and think we should do the same. But I must say that I am glad I have not had to endure the trials and tribulations that she did. If I had to endure all she did I would just get in bed, pull the covers up over my head and feel sorry for myself!

I don’t know much about her but her quote makes a lot of sense.
It is a sensible quote. 🙂
Heard rather than hard. Sorry
I haven’t even hard of Frida but I’m glad you saw the movie and learned much of her that you could appreciate.
I had seen copies of her art which I do not appreciate but I understand it better after learning a bit about her.
I agree with you! I saw that movie and learned a great deal about her. Such a painful life! I am not a fan of her works either, but I definitely agree with the quote and I’ll be creating a post for it before the deadline!
I was surprised by the movie. I hadn’t really given her any thought and just got the movie because I was bored and I do like Salma Hayek. Glad I watched it.
