Three Line Tales Week 33

Grandma’s Yarn
A ball of yarn was never far from Grandma’s lap. Every Christmas, birthday, and special occasion they all knew there would be something for each of them lovingly knitted or crocheted by her. She’s been gone for years but they still miss her and how she made the special days even more special with her creations made of yarn and love.

How sweet! It’s nice to have handmade things from those who love us as reminders of that love ❤
Yes, it is. But it seems hand made is not so common these days. Kinda sad.
So true, but we still get lovlies from my mother 😉
This is true of my mother’s embroidered dishtowels that I now decline to use, they are too precious to me, remembering the care she put into making them. I have one my daughter made for me during her high school years too. And I wonder what will become of such personal treasures after I am gone, I suppose it won’t really matter then. Handmade gifts are still the very best!
I have three paintings my brother did that are very special to me. Who knows what will happen to them when I am gone.
Very touching, Patricia.
It was sort of a stretch for unsentimental me.
I always enjoy your three line stories. That’s a bright orange ball of yarn that illustrates it so well. Blessings to you, Patricia…
