Friendly Fill-Ins Week 21
1. I plan to have a lazy couple of days, not a different plan from any other day.
2. My favorite magazine is…I don’t have a favorite, books are more my thing.
3. Recently, I was surprised by some news and not happy about it.
- Even though I’d love to have a super neat home, I am not the kind of housekeeper that has that kind of place.

Your answers are great, Patricia. I am curious about that news you got. I love the cat face to go with it! I have been sick with a very bad cold. Stay well!

Are you feeling better? Colds can be miserable. I will probably write about the news when I have more details.
Number 4 is definitely me. Hope some better news comes along for you this week!
Maybe having a super neat home would be nice but I wonder if it would be homey or like a hotel. There is always good news to soften the bad.
I like the idea of super neatness, but I don’t think it would be comfortable.
I’m with you on all of that except the surprises. Mine vary between good news and bad news, so it evens out I guess. I love all the cat pics. Your cats are very funny and expressive! Have a lovely weekend!
I don’t often get bad news and when I do it is a surprise but I get over it in a hurry. Life is good and I am never unhappy for long.
I agree – I could use a lazy day too! And if this cold gets much worse – it’s going to force me to do exactly that.
Seems colds are going around at my place. Hope you are feeling fine now. I don’t need to be forced to be lazy.
Very cute. I like a super neat home, however, what I like and reality is two different things.
I’m okay with not being super neat but when not neat becomes cluttered I get bothered enough to go on a decluttering rampage.
My husband is the same way.
I think that lazy is a title for people who don’t do what they need to do. Sometimes I am lazy. 🙂 Restful is just taking the weekend to relax, and that’s a good thing! I intend to do that too!
I am not a magazine reader either, except for Guideposts. I think you would like it, very uplifting true stories! I hope that your news was not bad news, I don’t like that kind much.
I am just like your answer to #4 🙂 I love having a spotlessly clean and organized home. I do not enjoy the work involved in keeping it that way, especially living in such a dusty place. I am working on decluttering, but it’s a slow process. I would like a housekeeper! 🙂
I used to get Guidepost and I did like it. Bet it is online and I could read it there. My news is not good but I don’t have the details yet. Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as I was told. I will most likely write about it when I know more. It is not something affecting only me but many people. It’s a concern but not a worry…if that makes sense. Decluttering is on my agenda and slowly, very slowly, getting done. Somehow while the decluttering is being done everything is a bigger mess than when I started.
I also need someone else to make my home super neat!
If only that was in the budget.
Cute kitty with the glasses. Have a great October.
Well, Hurricane Matthew just dumped some rain here. No power outages and no damage so October is starting out scary but good.
Your kitties are beautiful. 🙂
I’m sorry that you got some not-happy news. I hope that everything will be okay.
I prefer books over magazines, too, but both are out of luck lately. Blogs have taken over my reading time.
I hope that you have a great weekend!
The not-happy news is not terrible just a bother for now. Hopefully, when the details are known it won’t be as bad as it seems. I know what you mean about blogs taking over. Sometimes I just have to step back like I have the last couple of weeks and let the blog world get along without me.
I hope that it won’t be as bad as it seems, too. You’re in my prayers.
I would step back a little bit except that I made a goal for myself -at least a post a day for a year on both blogs- and I’m determined to make that goal. I’ve never been very good at finishing what I start and I want this to be different. I just have to get this time management thing mastered and I’m not the only one in control of my time these days. Circumstances are in control most of the time.
I hope that you come back from your break refreshed, with all going well for you and your family.
Have a blessed weekend. 🙂
Quite a challenge you have made for yourself. Not one I would try. I have a hard time with the April A to Z Challenge and Sundays are not required. Circumstances do tend to get in the way that’s for sure. Thank you for the prayers. I am blessed by your kindness.
I’m starting to wonder if I am going to make it. I just have to keep pushing myself. It has been a struggle to get back into writing and I am hoping that this goal will force it out of hiding, so to speak.
I usually have a hard time with the A to Z Challenge. This last time I didn’t struggle so much with what to write about(there were times, though!). The topic that I wanted to write about came easily to me.
My biggest struggle was getting the time to visit the other blogs each day and comment. I was visiting, most days, about 10 on a regular basis and that was a real challenge for me. Some days I wasn’t even able to get the 5 visits that were required in the challenge.
Have you thought of your topic for the next A to Z Challenge?
You’re very welcome for the prayers. I am also blessed by you, too. 🙂
Thank you for your answers, I enjoyed them. I hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks. Looking forward to getting this week done. A day or so late…
Cute and entertaining fill-ins. 🙂
Thanks, Tess. Nice to see you here.
