Mama said I could chat with you today.
Usually not much happens around here but the other day
I knew something was up when I got put in the cage.
Jack wanted to help get me out but like me
he has paws and no hands so couldn’t open the door.
He is a pest but I gotta say he was a trooper and tried his
best to help me.
My doctor is a very nice guy and loves cats
but he is still the man with the thermometer and needle.
This time, there was a shot but no thermometer.
Do you know where the thermometer goes?
It’s not a place things are supposed to go into only out of.
Oh, and the scale. I have been on a diet. Really I have.
I have been hungry, so very hungry since the last time I saw him.
And I gained 2 pounds!
I was a little upset and embarrassed.
The hug made me feel much better.
He said not to worry about it but to try not to gain anymore.
Then it was back in the cage for the ride home.
Believe me, when I say there is no place like home!
That’s it for my Tuesday Chatter.

Teddy, you are truly adorable. Mama is blessed to have you. XO
And I make sure she is aware of her blessing. Having a rescued shelter cat like me is the best for everybody.
You are so right about those thermometers. Really! No flirting, no dinner, just up the gazoo!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Poor Teddy. Momma is too nice and can’t help giving you a little less each meal. My is tough. After all, I can’t open the food tins and other packages. She’s the tyrant, but I haven’t seen a mirror lately. 😦
So far the less per meal isn’t working. I know how to move the dish into the living room to mama’s chair. She can’t stand to see my sad eyes and the empty dish. She is trying to be strict…
Hi Teddy, My name is Georgia because mom rescued me from Georgia. I’m a torti who is 1.5 yrs old. I know what you mean about those visits to the Dr. Last time I went, he told mom I was “a little chubby.” Can you believe it! Now we have to measure my food and count my treats! Cheez!!! You and Jack are very handsome. I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for sisters, but not kitties. They do love me though. You and Jack have a good night.
You get treats?! We don’t unless you count the occasional potato chip as a treat, I call it a vegetable. No dogs here. Mama would like one but she is too lazy to have a dog.
How endearing! Please tell Teddy that one of my four-legged friends named Teddy was a Labradoodle.
Labradoodles are great dogs. They are definitely sweet people pleasers and so smart.
This is so cute and thank you for linking to Tuesday Chatter,
Thanks. I am glad mama let me do the chatting for a change.
😉
Glad your trip went well, I bet the scale was wrong though. You are the perfect weight.
The scale was right and so are you…I am perfect!
