I didn’t think I’d be able to do this prompt–chimerical is a great word, but not one I use frequently…not sure I ever have 🙂
It is new to me, too. It comes from Greek mythology…the Chimera was a fire-breathing monster with a lion’s head, goat’s body and a snake for a tail. Pretty fanciful but not as endearing as your fanciful poem.
