I would for one day like to be
Living a life of one other than me.
Protected,pampered,chosen,and cherished
Just one day to live the life of my cat.
How chimerical is that?!

Yes, being a cat owned by me would be a chimerical thought. Pampered to the hilt.

A lovely chimerical thought indeed! You know without a doubt how much I would enjoy to indulge in this fantasy for a day… or longer! Petted, pampered, protected, everything done just to my pleasing! I think that our beloved furkids have the most contented lives of all, and are loved beyond measure!
I wonder if they agree with us. I think Teddy is content with his life but not so much Jack. Jack wants to roam the outside. He has taken to scooting out the front door into the hall. Scares me because if I don’t get him back inside and someone catches him they will put him outside the building. I live in the city with busy streets!
Some cats have that natural curiosity about what lies out there and aren’t content to view it from afar. You might think about a pet stroller (Amazon has them), and he could go for walks with you. I also learned from someone to keep an empty soda can with a few pennies in it by the door, and when opening it shake the can to frighten them a little so they will not be interested in lurking there. It might help!
I am going to say no to the stroller thing. People think I am a bit strange as it is. Might give the pennies in a can a try though.
Hahaha! My son made it very clear that he would not be seen with me out walking my kitties in their stroller! We don’t have a good walking area out here, and he lives in Nashville, so he is safe anyway! š My daughter has one and her cats love it, they are becoming more common, but yes, people would still think you have a rather hairy baby in there! š The can thing is good because it works without having to try to shoo them away or yell at them. Less stress all around. Let me know if it works.

Oh, I love this! My vet nce said that he wishes that, if at all possible he would like to come back as my cat…that would be life of evrything one could want. I am honoured. *wink*
