Last night I thought of something to chat about for today’s
Tuesday Chatter.
I thought at the time,”I should write this down so I don’t forget it.” But I didn’t write it down because it was such a good idea I knew I wouldn’t forget it. Well, I forgot what it was I was going to write about so now I have nothing.
So, that’s it for today’s chat. I really must write myself reminders so I don’t forget my great ideas. I wonder if Einstein had this problem. Probably not he was smart enough to know he might forget so probably always made notes of his great ideas.
“As you get older three things happen.
The first is your memory goes, and I can’t remember the other two.”
Norman Wisdom
Kinda funny that a man named Wisdom would forget two of three things.

I have the same problem so sometimes I do make notes. Do you ever start out to do something and forget what it is while you’re on your way to do it? There is no use banging my head about it. I can’t remember. But as soon as I return to whatever I was doing before, I run into the same problem I went off to solve. The second effort to do it does not fail. Life is a bowl of cherries if only you can remember where you put the bowl.
This is me all the way. Things always pop into my head just as I settle into bed for the night and I think that I’ll remember them in the morning… never! Now I make notes on my phone, reminders of things to do, and idea for future blog posts. That way I don’t have to keep track of notes that I also misplace. 🙂
I am beginning to realize my memory is not what it used to be. A sign of growing old? There seems to be too much that needs to be remembered or maybe time seems to move faster and I find it hard to keep up…I don’t know. Hmm, I feel a future post coming on 🙂
I can relate to this all too well. Thank you for linking to Tuesday Chatter. It’s always a pleasure to have you join in.
Well, I did remember Tuesday Chatter! One of my favorites.
I am so glad you did and thank you for your continued support. 😀
All sounds too familiar.
I am so good at forgetting what I was saying, let alone thinking. One second it’s there and then poof! Gone. I don’t have time to grab paper and pencil.
Ha Ha, that sounds like me also, so you haven’t got it all on your own, we are sharing.
Have a nice week.
Nice to know I have company in the land of forgetfulness.
