FFI week 36…

Friendly Fill-Ins, week 36

IMAG0077

  1. My guiding word for 2017 is yield. Not an easy word for a stubborn hardheaded brat.

skeery

2. If I had graduated from high school 2017 would be the 51st class reunion. That’s just     skeery. I can’t possibly be that old!

confuse

3. Truth be told I am superstitious about- I can’t think of anything but there is probably something.

4. Lately, I have been just taking it one day at a time and not thinking too much about tomorrow.

  1. I am here…again! I was here last week and I think I forgot to save my comment. I sometimes catch myself closing it after commenting, instead of posting the comment! Good grief.
I think even though Bill calls me Brat, that I often yield too easily. He thinks so, too. I do not like confrontation. Sometimes you just cannot get through to people who think they know what is in your heart and soul. You have great philosophies. I enjoy you and your boys. Hugs.

    1. I don’t like confrontation either and do yield to others when I think it’s not worth the trouble to work it out with them. But the word yield here to me is the yielding to the Spirit and His work in me. There is no confrontation just gentle nudges in the direction He wants me to go.

  2. Hehe! There is something to think about, and I always forget what it was. So I’m a complete one day at a time person (never make it through otherwise)

  3. Yield is a good word. I will have to think about that this year…. that may be next years because God definitely knows I am stubborn. I have tried in the past couple of years to be more out there and willing… but now I’m also just kinda tired. LOL

  4. Thank you for your great answers. I like the word yield, good choice. I also like the idea of taking it one day at a time. Have a nice weekend. PS: Very cute kitties.

  5. It is great to see Teddy and Jack today! When I visit with friends I went to school with we laugh in realizing those days were almost 50 years ago. That’s a big number, where did all that time/life go? I take life one day at a time too, that’s usually quite enough to deal with. God will work the rest out as it comes!

    1. Too much time thinking about tomorrow causes worry, I think. I am fine with today. I remember being in school and talking about the year 2000. It seemed light years away!
