Probably about as old as I feel most days, but I have to wonder about the stigma we apply to aging. Older doesn’t make you useless or incapable, it just means you might participate in life in other ways than when you were younger. If I don’t look or act like I did at 20 or 40, does that mean I no longer have value? We need to celebrate our life journey rather than deny it. 🙂
We live in a culture of youth adoration. I think media has a lot to do with it. They idolize youth and make aging seem deplorable. But this is slowly, very slowly, changing. Personally, I don’t feel or act my age or what folks seem to think how I should feel and act. Of course, I don’t look in the mirror as often as I used to. 😉
First i have to learn how to count more than my two paws.
🙂
The age I am now. There’s no going back and I hate looking back too much. ❤
I think old is a lot older than it used to be. I am not sure how old I am supposed to feel but for as old as I am I feel pretty good.
As old as I want to be. Good one, Patricia.
I am as old as I am and can’t change the fact. If my parent had had more self-control I would be younger. 🙂
Older than I am now. I carry the experience of previous lifetimes.
I am fine just knowing the experience of this life. Anything more and I would be more confused than I am.
This sounds like something Dr. Seuss would say! Or perhaps Shel Silverstein or Jim Henson. Good quote; it makes you think. Thanks for sharing it.
It does make you think. We put such importance on the numbers.
