They returned home with many souvenirs of their travels to distant places. Most were easy to understand what the purpose of the object was especially ones found in the offices of big businesses. But this thing was found on the desk of the president of a large company and no one could figure out what possible purpose it had for the business or the important earthling.

I have seen some interesting things on desks. I had one boss who had ping pong balls on his desk.
Did he play ping pong on his break? 😃
No, but he did throw the balls at walls and sometimes people.

A fun tale and so true! I have often wondered how beings from alien places would view the cultural icons we’ve become attached to, such as these. 🙂
I wonder, too. We imagine those from alien places to be strange or weird but so are we.
