She prepared for everything the night before the job interview. Had her lucky earrings, bracelet, and scarf on the dresser, lucky dress hanging on the bedroom door and her lucky shoes and purse ready and waiting for the big day. In the morning she drank coffee from her lucky mug that she won in a poker game, spritzed her lucky perfume and headed out the door of her apartment. In the parking lot, she looked at her parking space and it was empty. Someone had stolen her car!

Patricia, I cannot seem to get my comments to go through! I emailed you about this.
The word “lucky’ inspired me, Patricia. I’ll join in soon. 🙂
It would be lovely to have you join in! Please do whenever you can.
Oh oh. Things happen for a reason.
Yes, they do! I see it all the time in my life.
Me too.
This is a killer. She started out waayy too lucky. Too much of a good thing and something had to give. Sigh. Great story, Patricia. 😀 😀 ❤
I had fun writing this one, glad you liked it.
So much for having a lucky day! But then again, maybe she was lucky she wasn’t driving the morning of the big pileup on the highway! 😊
Or in the pileup! Or maybe she just wasn’t meant to get the job…something better coming up?
Oh, no…that just figures. Too bad she didn’t have a lucky car or parking place! Good one, my friend. Hugs.
