I find as we grow older there is often more to laugh at, but maybe also more that makes us sad. The idea is to maintain a balance, thus to be a peace with life.
That’s true. But if we forget how to laugh the sadness is unbearable.
I agree, I feel sad for people who have lost their sense of humor, it is the only way to navigate the bumpy road of life.

It is sad when people lose their sense of humor. Life is miserable without it.
A sense of funny is a must as we get older. Important all our life but really important for me now.
Life is dull, sad and boring without funny in it for sure. Being older definitely requires a sense of humor.
