A to Z Challenge

The Way I See It

Sometimes my brain goes kerflooey and I get confused. Like yesterday. I posted my A to Z letter L post which as we all know should have been letter K because today is letter L day and K comes before L. And today I can’t find my letter K post. It’s gone. Of course, it was a brilliant post and of course, it cannot be rewritten because my brain is kerflooey and it’s late so this is it.  The way I see it…sometimes ya just gotta go with what is and not give what was meant to be too much thought or kerflooey will morph into kerfuffled and that is never good.

Friendly Fill-Ins, week 49

  1. An Easter (or Passover) tradition I have is nothing. I don’t have one.

2. My favorite flavor of ice cream is any kind that has chocolate in it.

  1. One of my favourite Easter/Passover memories is the year the Easter Bunny brought me a basket with a gun and holster in it and brought my brother a basket with bubble bath in it. Of course, the Easter Bunny meant for me to have the bubbles and my brother the gun but we were quite happy with the baskets we found and would not trade.

  1. My favourite Spring flower is daffodils.

  1. It is never too late to start a tradition. We are going out to Easter Lunch tomorrow. The past few years we were apart, so this is nice! The best part is going to Mass together, though. How cute that you happily traded baskets as kids. Joy can be individual, though! Happy Easter, my friend. Hugs.

  2. I delighted in your Easter basket story. That’s marvelous that you didn’t swap. I would love to have had a pocketknife, and only a gift mix-up would have brought me one.

  3. What a great way to approach an alphabet mix-up! I’ve found myself running thru the alphabet to remember which post comes next too, so funny! I love both of your k-words! 🙂

With the kids grown and not living near to us, we don’t have Easter traditions either, though I think I will make some colored devilled eggs for Papa Bear today to surprise him. I usually get him a chocolate rabbit too. 🙂 I love that both you and your brother were happy with the basket switch and kept them, boys like bubbles and girls like guns too!

Daffodils really are lovely, they just say “SPRING”! My favorites are tulips but they don’t do well here, it is too hot. Have a blessed Easter, Patricia!

    1. I have the letters on my calendar so I won’t get mixed up. Still confused. I have a hard time knowing what day it is now that I don’t have to go to work. Yeah, Will and I got along very well and had few problems. I think the basket thing bothered my parents, though. Happy Easter!

  4. Thank you for joining in the fill-ins, great answers. That is a cute story about the Easter baskets 🙂 Have a nice Easter!
