We would miss so many wonderful and beautiful things about life and our world if we are always looking down, at the dark side. God paints such beautiful pictures in the sky for us, every morning and every evening here I am thankful!
I don’t get to see many sunrises as I live on the west side of the building but the sunsets are spectacular. Truth is if I lived on the east side of the building I wouldn’t see many sunrises either…they happen too early for me.
Charlie Chaplin had that right. My mother told me this story about myself: When I was a small child, I was stooped over with my fact to the carpet. She asked me what I was doing. I told her I was looking for God. She told me I had to look up to find God. Blessings to you, Patricia…
oops.. face to the carpet…
Wise mother! The down view is rather confining.
I love this bit of colourful wisdom. It is so true! I make it a conscious choice to seek the rainbows, even calling them to others who seem to be caught in the rain. If you spend your time being negative, you miss the rainbows. Storms never last. HUGS.
Storms don’t last and the calm afterward is a great reward. It is easy to be negative and can become a habit. Seeing the rainbows erase the negative but you do sometimes have to look for the rainbow.
Lovely quote and adorable pic.
🙂
Very true! What am I thinking today? It is a beautiful morning and the birds have a lot to say! Hope you have a great view from your balcony this morning!
We had the most beautiful cool rain today. It was calm and I sat on the balcony and watched the showers.
