Friendly Fill-Ins, week 55
1. My idea of roughing it is being anywhere without the conveniences and comforts of home.
2. I never get sick of talking about…well, I can’t think of anything.
- My youth is in the past and that’s fine with me.
4. My “golden years” are here I guess, though it’s hard to believe it.

Roughing it is going anywhere that doesn’t include vehicle access, a comfy bed, and clean restrooms in close proximity. 🙂
You got that right, my friend!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. I always enjoy your answers.
Thank you for giving us something to think about. Sometimes the blanks are hard to fill in.
Sounds like you’re quite the conversationalist! Roughing it is leaving home, it seems.
Oh, I can talk and talk and talk but I couldn’t think of anything specific. Yep, I am happiest at home.
It seems that our Golden Years got here a lot faster than we expected, right? LOL!
Yes, they did come faster than the speed of light and with no slowing down it seems.
Your answer to #1 works perfect for me.
🙂
My idea of roughing it is being without cats and coffee.
I can relate to that. Well, not the coffee part…I only like the occasional cup of something with lots of stuff besides coffee in it.
I appreciate your “It is what it is” demeanor. I am a homebody. I don’t call it roughing it, when away from home. I call it “penance”. *wink* It is what it is, when I must do that. It sure makes me appreciate home even more! Hugs!
I hope to come up with something for “fresh”. I have a story (memory), but it hasn’t come together in five lines. I may offer a haiku that stuck in my mind.
Penance is a good word…I guess the reward for doing it is going home.
