I miss hot pavement / Near Ohio summer pools / Scorching winter dry.
Do or did you live in Ohio? I’m from there and miss the summers but not the winters. Your poem brought back memories. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome! I am from Ohio originally. My family and I just moved to the Greater Seattle area last August. I miss the warm summers. It’s not cold here. It’s around 70 degrees in the summer and it doesn’t really get colder than 45 degrees in the winter. So I agree with you there–I don’t miss winter in Ohio at all. In the summer, the days are bright and sunny here. There are mountains and the Puget Sound nearby–so I’m extremely happy. I just miss outdoor pools on 90 degree days:)
Extremely happy wins over outdoor pools. 😉
Scorching in MissouREE!
