Celebrate the Small Things

fly_thumb.jpg

I celebrate another week of life but it has flown by. Seems like Sunday was just a day or two ago. When did time speed up?  Does it have something to do with climate change?  Surely it has nothing to do with age!

There have been some cooler mornings this week. In the mid-seventies when I get up and in the eighties the rest of the day.  There’s been some rain and more to come this weekend which is fine.  Usually, this time of year lawns are brown and dry and the leaves on the flowers are beginning to curl but so far all is looking green and lush. That is something to celebrate!

Though the mornings have been pleasant I haven’t gone for a walk.  Really need to get back on track and get my steps in. I do celebrate that I am healthy and even if not in great shape I get around just fine and have the energy to do things I want to do. What I don’t want to do is another story.  I am happy and celebrate that my time is no longer logged on a time clock!

That’s it for this Friday.

Has anyone heard anything from Lexa?  Does she have an email address I can have so I can say hello?  If it is okay with her would you send it to my email, please?  Or just tell her I am thinking of her.  Thanks!

  1. Love that flying cat! The weather is about the same here…and I’m loving it 🙂 As to Lexa, I’ve emailed her + DMed but heard nothing back. Email me at tdrecker at gmail dot com and I’ll send you her email. I’m sure she could use the good wishes.

  2. I have a lot of energy and consider myself lucky. The weather has been a little cooler in the mornings and we have had a lot of rain. I look forward to autumn and hopefully, we will have some cooler weather this year.

    1. It is a blessing to have energy when you need it. I am looking forward to autumn, too. we are back to normal hot and humid but the break was nice.

  3. This past week we have had fabulous weather. (Seems like the first all year.) Dips into low 60s at night and high 70s-low 80s during the day. Feels sort of fall-ish but I’m loving it after the 90% humidity with 90 degrees we had for most of July. Enjoy!

  4. I don’t know Lexa’s email address but if you find it and email her tell I’m worried too. I’m just hoping she’s having a well earned blog break.

Having enough energy is a big problem for me (thyroid issues) so I’m envious!

    1. I have hypothyroidism. As long as I take my daily meds I have all the energy I need. Took awhile to find the right dosage though.
