My FFI’s…

Friendly Fill-Ins, week 67

city

  1. If someone were visiting my area, I would recommend a visit to the award-winning zoo and gardens, downtown because of the architecture and the city revival that is happening, the State House and grounds for the history and beauty.

2. My favorite room in my home is the living room because it is comfortable and opens to the balcony and a great view of the city.

Back-to-school time makes me think of how happy I am that I learned to read and how happy I am that I don’t have to go to school anymore.

what

  1. My favourite year of school was first grade because I didn’t know then that there were years and years ahead of me of getting up early and being forced to go someplace every day whether I wanted to or not.

    1. It was hard to pick a room…I like my bedroom and if the kitchen ever gets done I will like it, too. School wasn’t even close to my favorite place. Teddy and Jack were watching the hummingbirds.

  1. I loved Kindergarten, but First Grade was difficult. My teacher was very harsh. I remember not colouring a milk bottle white, because it was already white. She got very angry and kept saying for me to colour it. It seemed pointless to me, so I told her so. I was always a practical one.

    1. I liked school for the learning of things not so much for the social stuff. I was/am an introvert and all those people all the time drove me crazy. That and the fact I didn’t/don’t like being told what to do every minute. Seems your teacher needed some instruction on being open to creativety.

  2. Thank you for participating, great answers. It sounds like there is a lot to do where you live. I was glad school was over too. Have a nice weekend!
