Friendly Fill-Ins, week 69
- My favorite fictional character is (at the moment) David Baldacci’s new character, Amos Decker. Amos had a brain injury and as a result, can forget nothing. The books are crime stories with Amos as a down and out a private investigator who ends up working with the FBI. I like anything Baldacci writes but for now, Amos Decker is a favorite character.
2. A new tv show or film I am looking forward to this Fall is…nothing comes to mind. I don’t have regular TV just Netflix so I just watch shows they have on. Some are really good and some are really awful.
3. One of my very favourite books is whatever I am currently reading.
- The best time to live is in the present. Too many live in the past and too many spend too much time thinking about the future.

#4… BIG! I have to work at it but I think I am doing so much better than I have in the past.
I enjoyed your Fill-ins, Patricia.
I spent a lot of time “in the past” and was miserable. Very glad that is no longer the case although, I do have to be careful not to revert to earlier behaviors and thoughts.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I especially like #4, that is so true. Have a nice weekend!
I enjoy the challenge of the fill-ins…most of the time. Sometimes they are hard for me though. 🙂
I love #4. Living in the present is something I have to concentrate on.
I think living in the present is often difficult with the past pulling us back and the future so unknown. I have found that life is better when I stick to the now.
Oh, great answers! I can really relate to #3 & #4. I get pretty wrapped up in whatever I am reading. My answer to #4 was very in-line with yours! HUGS!
I can read for hours and often don’t get things done or enough sleep because of a book. Our #4’s were very much alike! Happiness is only found in the present!
