It’s Labor Day and that means Maggie is preparing for another family barbecue and battle. As long as she can remember her family has been fighting over one thing or another and this year will be the same. She doesn’t know why her family is so contentious and hard to get along with but she does know that if anyone in the family needs help or support in bad times the arguments and feuds are put aside and they do whatever they can for each other. Deep down and sort of hidden they do love one another and anyone outside of the family better not cause one them problems because if they do the troublemaker will know the vengeance of her kinfolk. Yeah, they are not the model of a perfect family but they are hers and she wouldn’t want any other.

This sends a nice message, Patricia. Families are what holds us together, even if not perfect in our eyes.
Thanks, Eugenia. Family is important and to be loved if not always liked.
😉
OH , I like this! It helps us view our families with more grace . . .taking the good with the bad. Thanks Patricia!
Grace. I like that. If we viewed not only our families with grace but the whole world think of what life would be like!
