Write a story or poem of 5 Lines or Less
using the word teacher
That everyone we meet is our teacher we cannot gainsay
Just as we are teachers for every one of them
We would be wise to remember this every day
Making a promise most solemn
And carefully keeping it in every way

Sometimes we are the student, sometimes we are the teacher. We do need to remember that. We can always learn, from everyone we meet. Hugs. thank you.
What you say is true. Why do we forget such elementary things?
Because we are human. Some of us overthink, while some us disregard that which we do not like. Some of us learn from life, some never do their homework. HUGS!
Oh, yeah, that homework thing. So much easier to just coast along just enjoying the view.
No, not for me…I always did my homework. The adults around me didn’t. So, I observed, took notes, and did not follow their cues.
I was a rebel, quiet but rebellious. I was not a poster child for good behavior. But we all got through it and learned lessons about life and love and family.
“Quietly defiant”. I knew some of those. Not me. I was outspoken, but always “the good one”. I had to be, or felt like it. No one else was! Except Grampy.
I was quiet kept my thoughts to myself…my actions told my story. Sounds like you were blessed to have Grampy.
I bet you were cute! You knew your mind and found ways to cope. Grampy and I were a team. I miss him every day. And, I married someone like him, too.
Well done, Patricia.
Thank you!
Love this, Patricia. I have to say that I had a wonderful teacher in high school. I am thankful for the kindness and thoughtful teaching that came my way.
I, too, am thankful for teachers be they “official” teachers or those who are put in my path to teach me something about life.
