Stuff about me…

Friendly Fill-Ins, week 71

1. I have broken some bones.  A toe when I was a kid, my arm when I fell out of a chair (there is a story to this that involves a cat but no alcohol), my foot,  my nose twice, and a couple ribs broken while I was in the hospital getting an x-ray (another story).

2. When I go out to breakfast, I order the usual breakfast food; eggs and bacon or waffles/pancakes, or fruit crepes. Sometimes a breakfast sandwich. My favorite time to have breakfast food is at suppertime.

3. As Summer officially comes to an end I am happy to see the heat and humidity go and have some cooler weather to enjoy.

4. Before this year is over, I really need to get my home in order. There are several projects I hope to get done once the work in the kitchen (that has to be done by the pros) is finished. I really don’t want several rooms a mess at the same time so I have been putting off some things I will do myself. When the kitchen is done I don’t know what excuse I will use but I will think of something.

    1. Right now I am painting doors…when the spirit moves me which is not often. I do not like painting. Actually, the painting part is ok but the prep and cleanup are a pain in the butt.

    1. I don’t understand not liking breakfast for supper. It is so much better when you are fully awake. Still waiting for true cool weather. Nights are pleasant but days are still hot.

  1. I love breakfast at dinner time too. It’s good any time of the day 🙂 There are so many things I need to do around the house, too. Love all the kitty pics.

    1. I don’t like breakfast in the morning. If someone else made it I think I would like it. The cats are not allowed on the kitchen counters so they don’t cook and there is no one else to do it.

    1. Structured procrastination? I had to google it. Seems I do this all the time but I thought it was just wasting time. Who knew that wasting time is really a productive past-time!

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I would like to hear these stories about breaking bones. I hope you show us photos of your completed kitchen, I bet it is going to be beautiful. Have a nice weekend!

    1. I imagine someday the broken bones stories will be written. I am hopeful the kitchen will be done soo and yes there will be before and after pictures.
