“A friend is someone who understands your past,
believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”
I don’t know who said this but I agree with whoever it was. True friends are those people who know you, really know you, and still think you are wonderful. They say what needs to be said and keep quiet when words won’t work. They make the good things great and the bad things bearable.
There aren’t a lot of people who are this kind of friend and that’s okay because you only need one to make it through life’s pleasures and perils. I am blessed because there are more than one of these special souls to walk with me on my journey.
Do you have a friend who understands, believes, and accepts?
I have some very good friends but I don’t think I have the kind of friend in my life right now that you describe. But who knows what today will bring… 🙂 I do have some blogging friends that I feel are like that and I feel fortunate for that.
I have had times when I felt there wasn’t a friend that I could trust without reservation and they were hard times for me. Friends from the world of blogging are often just what is needed to fill empty places.
Friends are priceless. I have many sincere friends, some of which are online friends. Sincerity does shine through even via the internet.
Yes, in spite of all the problems that get reported about the internet sometimes wonderful friendships are formed.
I have a handful of good friends. They are indeed priceless. We are lucky when we have those kinds of friends.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Yes, the world would be a lonely and scary place without special friends who share their hearts.
My fellow bloggers do, despite never having met me 🙂
It is interesting that cyber-friends can become close in thought and at heart while being far apart; never being in the same room or hearing the voices of those friends.
The wonders of technology……
