Three Line Tales week 107

Secrets Treasures
A few weeks after the funeral, she went back to the house where she grew up to sort through her mother’s things to ready the house for sale. Her mother was a shy woman who lived a quiet sheltered life with no secrets or great passion. Looking at the few things her mother kept in the trunk in her bedroom she was surprised and wistfully smiled; her shy and quiet mama did have passion in her life and maybe more than a few secrets.

Nice little story. I’m curious about those secrets! 🙂
So am I!
I love this sweet story, Patricia.
I think we really don’t know our parents until they are gone and we find letters and keepsakes they never shared.
Yes, I feel there were events in their past they kept to themselves or didn’t feel they were worth sharing.
She’s going to be reading those journals for sure. There’s always a story of some kind.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
When I wrote it I was thinking of letters I found that my father wrote to my mother while he was in the Navy during WWII. He was so in love.
Touched more than one heartstring here Patricia.
This is good to hear. Thank you.
Sweet story! Thanks Patricia!
